Jewelry Boxes, Wooden Jewelry Boxes for the Win

A Jewelry box is something that many people kind of take for granted. They may just assume that their jewelry will be safe and secure when they place their diamond earrings in their jewelry box. I am here to tell you that all jewelry boxes are not created equal, especially wooden jewelry boxes.

From my experiences, I have noticed that of my three jewelry boxes, the one that is holding up the best is my wooden jewelry box. I purchased all three jewelry boxes within about a month of each other. Ironically, the jewelry box holding up the best after all of these years is the one I purchased first, the wooden jewelry box. While the other jewelry boxes are wooden, I have a hard time calling them wooden as they are basically made with thin compressed wood that does not create a sturdy and secure box. The wooden jewelry box that I have is hand crafted solid wood.

In order to spot the solid wood jewelry boxes, you should always try to check the materials that the jewelry box is made from. Many websites may have a section on the page that says product features, product specifications or they may even call the section, material. If you see anything other than solid wood, it might be a good idea to walk away. I have found the jewelry boxes with descriptions that say constructed of high strength mdf, compressed wood or anything other than the words solid wood means it will probably fail to live up to your expectations.

In order to find these proper wooden jewelry boxes, I scoured the web. I found a few web sites that said their boxes were solid wood, but the pricing for these jewelry boxes was ridiculous. In order to find great wooden jewelry boxes that were within my price range and looked like they would live up to my expectations, I did a search for wooden jewelry boxes. Right away on the search engine results page, I saw a few descriptions that said the website sold wooden jewelry boxes made of solid wood. While there were just a handful of web sites that had this type of product description, I found that it was not always the first search result that had the best price. As I went down the list, my prices seemed to get a little more affordable, page by page. I finally found a jewelry box that would fall under my wooden jewelry boxes specifications and purchased it right away.
